Vintage MIL 2 Piece Black
Hardware are made of zinc alloy electro-plated with various colours as seen. Weight and sound of the metal clanking is similar to hardware used in the past.
The plating and oxide formed on the hardware surfaces protects the zinc alloy from rusting.
It does not stain one’s skin because it is not in contact with your skin when wearing.
It does not oxidize further as the finishes are plated.
Do not sand them down to expose the metals to elements that will cause deterioration.
